Can someone explain to me the if you would say "Mario quiere hablar con Maria" more?

is ''mario no quiere hablar con maria'' not habla because then the sentence won't make sence then the other one is ''mario quiere hablar con maria'' the sentence has to make sence. wat i always do is pronouce the sentece and hear how it sounds if it doesn't sound right then try adding other words at the end like -er and those kind and the one that sounds the best is probaly going to be the right one is mostly all ways right GOOD LUCK
